Dr. Ayşe Tecmen
I entered into the European Studies MA programme at BILGI in 2007. It was a very rewarding time for EU-Turkey relations and it was a perfect fit for what I wanted to accomplish in my career, which is to become an academic.
I was very intrigued by the variety of the course as well as the interdisciplinary nature of the studies. This programme taught me to be a critical thinker and a responsible researcher. It has also provided me with friendships and peer connections that will last a lifetime. I am currently working at Istanbul Bilgi University’s European Institute and it is all thanks to the education and guidance I received during the MA programme.
